Free hatred?

As a non-beleiver in the christian god. I have been told I cannot love. Only hate. Yet, I do not hate as much as I could. I do not hate homosexuals. I do not hate witches. I do not hate people of skin colours different to my own. I do not hate people on the street who mind their own business and leave me to my own. Seems for a "hateful satanist" I have to be brought to hatred. Anton LaVey wrote you cannot force yourself to love everyone, which is true enough, but I also believe on the same token you cannot hate everyone either. Kindness to those who deserve it and hatred to those who earned it. So what earns my hatred? What would make me say "I hate you"? I guess anyone who would go out to harm or annoy me without cause. Anyone who threatens me with violence or other consequences if I do not comply with their unreasonable demands. People who cause physical harm to myself or to those who earned my love and respect. I like to give people I never knew prior a chance. Treat them well and hope to be treated well, but if they treat me badly, then they have used up their chance, but even then I just try to avoid them. Very rarely will I ever physically assault a person. You really have to piss me off to do that. And for me to actually try and kill you? Well, that never happened yet. I hope it never comes to that. I do have a sense of justice, but I use a case by case basis to determine my attitude about other people.

I do not hate what I am told to hate. I hate what I have learned by myself to hate

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads

I bear a mark. The dreaded mark of the beast. Is it on my head? Is it on my hand? My mark isn't visable to the eye, it isn't on the surface of the skin. However it is there, and I bear it with pride.

The book of revelation talks of the mark. The one people will need to buy and sell. My mark is something else. I beleive it to be a true mark.

The mark on the forehead. it is the head where thoughts originate. It is where our hopes, our dreams, our pain, our sadness comes from. It is where our problems are solved. Jesus stated in his misguided sermon on the mount that to have lust or anger is to break a commandment and thus makes one deserving of damnation. The mark on the head is thought. Our secret desires, our hatred, our sexual fantasies. Our desire to challenge the "wisdom" of god and to seek more about the world around us. The origins of the species and of life itself. To think beyond the confines of religion is to bear the mark on the forehead. The head mark, is thought.

The right hand is the one used often for actions. For the most part it carries objects. It weilds weapons. It builds. It destroys. For most people it is the universal tool for human action. It is used in sexual encounters with our chosen mate. It takes from others. It builds the idols of wood and of metal. It builds the shuttles that reached higher into the heavens than the fabled Tower of Babel. It writes the books that contain the undefiled wisdom that casts biblical fiction aside. The mark on the hand is deed, the deed of rebelion against man's most dangerious creation, his god.

I bear the mark. I am aware of its presence. This mark wasn't given to me by some monster with lamb horns with a draconic voice. It was given to me in the womb. I am neither able nor willing to remove it.

The Parable of the Two Brothers.

There once was a man who had two sons. As they grew up one of the sons went away to live on his own without his father. The other son learnt all his father taught him. He taught his son he would punish him very badly if he dared to ignore his teachings such as not to kill another man. The son who lives on his own decided he did not wish to be killed and deiced that it was wrong to kill others because he did not think they either would want to die. The two brothers were reunited when the father died. The son who stayed no longer feared his father's punishment and so killed many people. He was later arrested and put in prison. The son who decided that killing is wrong because he himself did not wish it and did not fear his father's punishment did not kill and lived a good life.

Of the two brothers, who is the moral one?

I see your jihad, and raise you a crusade

Having been made aware of Pastor Terry Jones' (Not to be confused with the Monty Python member) plan to host a burn a quran day on saturday (Not coincidentally, the 11th of September). I can't help but wonder, are the lines between extremist islam and christianity bluring? Both did at one point war against each other. Taking territory from the other in a series of crusades and jihads, I can't help but wonder if the so called "war on terror" is quickly devolving into another of these acts of violence. It has been revealed that the american army has been using weapons inscribed with serial codes referencing biblical scriptures. Already one side is convinced this is a holy war that their creator has ordained. I worry when the other side see it as so. And when this happens, what of the rest of us? The non muslims, the non christians? Already I associate myself with their combined adversary. Ironically, the one they beleive the other to be. Are we satanists, atheists, pagans, buddists, jews etc to be trampled by the boots of "God's" soldiers? Cross or cresent, the end result will be the same. Convert or die.

Maybe 2012 will be the end of the world, but I do not beleive it will be God who brings it about, but 2 groups of his followers.

7/7. Unforgoten. Unforgiven

It is 5 years since London was attacked by religious fanatics willing to lay down their lives for their murderous fictional master, taking as many non-believers with them as possible. A day I couldn't force from my memory even if I tried. It started normal enough. I received a video tape from ebay. My sister was out on a school trip. Then I saw the news. We were under attack under the name of Allah. My mother was frantic as my sister was down there. Fear was coursing through us. This was their objective, in the name of God, we the non believers were to know fear. My sister and those in her class were ok thankfully. They weren't near the bombs and were returned safely. Fear turned to anger. These monsters we allowed in our country. We gave them our hospitality, and they not only denounce our way of life, they demand we submit to theirs or suffer. Anger leads to hate. I hate these fanatics. Their very existence is adverse to my own, so mine shall be to theirs. I shall defy these monsters by continuing to live as I see fit. I will never bow before their printed idols. I will not prostrate in their places of worship. I will respect none of their laws that do not promote justice, and they who say I must is my mortal foe.

Are we not men?

I once said I cannot see myself as a furry, only as a human. But that does not mean I cannot see myself as an animal. I am an animal. Homosapiens. A highly intelegent speices of ape. I, and every human on the planet is the result of billions of years of natural selection. There are those who deny, even fear this knowledge. They claim to be the hand made products made from dirt who became flawed and therefore worthy of destruction. No, we have a grander origin. Life on this planet is never easy, so life learns to adapt or face extinction. Our ansestors conquered these chalengese simply by survivng. through these trials, humanity has gained intelegence, strength and a unique gift or curse. We became self aware. But ultimatly we are still animals. We kill for food, we seek or make shelter, we mate, we mark territory and so on.
The naysayers ask "if we are animals, whats to stop use behaving like animals?" What is animal behavior? Is it walking on all fours or running on two? There can be both. Is it to kill others for food or graze on grass? To answer your question, oh man of dust crafted by the hand of an impotent creator. Yes, we can and do behave as animals because there is a different set of animal behavior as there are animals.

I need no fursona because I have an animal side, a real animal side. We are animals, sometimes better, more often worse, than those who walk on all fours. Because of man's intelectual and "spirital" nature, we have become the most vicious animal of all.

Absolute morality

Have you ever told a lie? What does that make you? Have you ever stolen anything? What does that make you?

These and simular questions are asked to show you are not perfect, that you are capable of doing immoral things. But are they always immoral? Let me tell you a parable. A man has a sick wife. He loves her dearly but without the right medicine she will die in a matter of days. The drug is too expensive and it could take years to save enough funds. The man decides to steal the medicine to save his love. To some, this would be an immoral choice because it involves theft. Taking what does not rightfully belong to him, but on the otherside of the coin we have a man who is willing to risk being caught and being punished with jailtime to save his wife from an early death. Personally, I see the risk as being worth it myself.

Honesty is indeed a desirable trait. It builds trust and it secures relationships. Consider this, a woman is being chased by a group of men who wish to rape and kill her. She hides in a place where only you saw her. The group see you, have no interest in you but ask if you saw her. Dispite them not knowing you, you have seen these people on the news before so you have an idea of what they plan to do. Do you answer honestly and tell them where she is, or do you lie to them and say you do not know?

Murder. No doubt most will agree taking the life of an unwilling victim is morally wrong. However you may find youself forced into a position where there is no choice. Imagine seeing your child on the street with a gun pointed to his head by someone who wishes to rob him. You yourself have a gun, but are not noticed. If the theif realises your child has no money, he may kill the child. If he notices a witness, he may kill you, the child or both. There is a chance. You pull the gun on him, he realises but he does not take the gun off the kid. You have faster reflexes and he would be dead before he could pull the trigger. Do you pull yours?

Or yet this, you confront a man who is about to press a button for a weapon of mass destruction about to kill hundreds, if not thousands of people. His man is insanly fanatical and has no intention of listening to reason, nor does he ear your gun, the only thing on his mind is killing those people. You can shoot him before he touches the button but too far away to grab and restrain him.

There are times of no win scenarios, but most people will try to choose the lesser of two evils. Life is a game, and we all must play with the dealt hands.

Why Satanism?

I guess we all look for something in our lives. When I was protesting against Scientology, I read their books so I would not be ignorent if it came down to debating. In time I read other books, The Bible, the Book of Mormon, books on Paganism. I never looked into satanism because I beleived it was a christian myth. A label applied to non christian religions, particularly pagan religions. I bought a copy of the Omen Box Set from my local HMV and eventually went through the special features and there was an interview from a member of the "Church of Satan". A real satanist. So I started to look it up. There was an actual Church of Satan. I read that the founder wrote the beleifs in a volumne unsprisingly called "The Satanic Bible". Unlike other religions I read about, it didn't disgust me. Instead I was drawn to it. I read on the net these satanists did not worship the christian devil, they abhore child and animal sacrifice. They view enemies as being symbolicly sacrificed when casting a curse. They beleive a person's worth is based on what he can do and not on false forgiveness. So I went to London and found my own copy of the Satanic Bible. It explains the importance of accepting yourself. Not to feel guilt about doing things you enjoy as long as you're responcible.

Dispite finding my path, I still read others, even those I do not agree with. I feel ignorence is disgusting.

Original sin, creationism and the ultimate con.

I used to wonder about creationists. I used to wonder if these people are really that dumb. I used to think that the constant repeats of dated and dead arguements were maybe a result of some retarding of intelegence. That the dogma is so ingrained in these people that they could not see the truth. That dispite the evidence of our species origin, they deny its very existance. Are they that stupid? Sadly, the majority of them are. They swallow these so called "arguements" and repeat them ad nauseam. But the people behind these arguements. Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, Jack Chick, Kent Hovind. They seem to put a lot of time and effort to create these wild claims and arguements. Such creativity, such boldness. Yet people mock them like their flocks for their lack of intelegence. I too numbered among them. Mocking them for the dumbasses they appeared to be. Yes, "appeared". There is a reason they hold on to this story. There is a certain plot point in the creation story which they rely on. Like the winfixer program, it creates a problem and ropes you in to buy the cure. In the Begining, God created the Heaven and the Earth. He creates Adam, Eve and the plants and animals of the world and tells Adam and Eve to eat what they wish except the fruit of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. A serpent talks them into it, they eat and God gets pissed at this transgretion. He curses humanity for this "Original Sin" and so he has to send people to Hell for unending pain. But 4000 years later, he sends his own son to die on a cross like a common criminal to pay for this sin so people can be forgiven, all they need do is beleive. A nice story. All you have to do is admit you're a sinner because of the actions of an ancestor you'e never met commited a deed long before you were born and you're expected to be punished unless you beleive a guy who was nailed to a piece of wood died and came back to life 3 days after who then flew into the sky. You can also show support by preaching this message to those around you, buying materials, bibles and other things for this holy crusade. You want to go to heaven? Do what we tell you, say what we want you to say, beleve what we want you to beleive, think what we want you to think. Oh and don't be stingy when the collection plate comes your way. So why do they deny evolution. If man is decended from less complex species, there couldn't have been an Adam or an Eve, therefore there is no original sin. And if there is no original sin, there is no need to be forgiven. No need to be forgiven, no need to serve these all too real human masters hiding behind their invisible tyrant.

A 2000 year old con in a 4.7 billion year old world. Dispite this relativly short time, it's been going long enough.

Death and eternal life

Today is Easter Sunday, The day christians celebraite the sacrifice of their god to appease his own bloodlust. To use the too often quoted John 3:16, God sent his only son so people may have eternal life. Eternal life is easy to define. You simply live for the rest of eternity. But what is meant by death in regards to the alternative to eternal life? You would think it was simply ceasing to exist. Nothing left of you. Just cold, dark void for the rest of time and beyond. Seems reasonable I suppose. Some argue living for eternity could get boring. So the end of it is preferable. Yet the most likely, is the one that isn't an option for the death worshipers. They define this fate as death, but in my opinion it isn't death at all. I'm talking about Hell. Jesus didn't die and come back so we could avoid non existance, he died so we could get past daddy before he locks us in his basement to do things that even Josef Fritzil would shudder at. It's not enough for us to be removed from existance, their loving god has to torture people with fire and pain. Infinite being with infinite sadism. Yet to avoid this, you simply need to beleive in the ressurection. Regardless of "sin" you can walk scott free and they call this justice.

Well, luckily I live in the real world. When I enter into oblivion, I'll be happy to know that such a cruel system isn't in place.

Magic, Really a black and white issue?

Magic. The means to change something which through conventional means would be impossible. Many have seen it depicted in movies, video games, tv shows and other works of fiction. But what is it really. Is it really sparkles of engery that transforms one thing or another? The ability to shoot lightning from your fingertips? sounds unnatural huh? Magic isn't unnatural. It is nature's energy. To get the most of magic, one must work with nature, not against it. No doubt you've heard the terms "white magic" and "Black magic". Usually white magic is defined as spells and rituals that are performed for the benefit of others with no intent for the self and no wish to harm others. Conversly, black magic is the term given for rituals performed for personal gain. For harm of others and other selfish ends.
It is interesting to note most practictioners of magic will claim to use only white magic, as enemies of magic claim all practice black magic. The truth is, no one practices magic for completely selfless reasons. Who wasn't happy with making a friend happy? Who hasn't taken pride in a successful working? We all get some kind of gratification from it, no sence in denying it. So, is magic completely white? Doesn't seem like it can be. Can it be completely black? Well, to muster enough energy to kill, one must really hate the intended victim for a successul working, to muster such hatred, one must either be a close minded fool inwhich case it could be black, or if there was a gross injustice played on the part of the victim.

Prop 8. A reflection 1 and a half years on.

Proposition 8. Why after 1 and a half years does a law in a state of a country I'm not a citizen of still annoy me? I'm not even gay or even bisexual, why should I care if same sex couples get married. Why is it any of my business. It's not any of my business. I have no right to say who can and who can't get married. Whatever makes people happy and as long as no one is harmed. I fail to see any immorality so I have no reason to oppose it. It's none of my business, but it isn't the business of anyone else who isn't affected in any way. Yet there were many who opposed same sex marriage. Why exactly? Is it the spread of a deadly pathogen? Will it cause the end of the world. Will it cause the Nazis to return riding on dinosaurs? Well, the reason oftern cited is no less rediculous. It is because an invisible man in the sky who supposedly made all of us said no. So naturally the christian hate machine once again minipulate the politics of a nation built on secularity. Seriously, is same sex marriage compulsary? Do churches no longer have the right to wed same sex couples? I'm not saying churches need to drop their right to refuse. I mean who would want to go where they're not welcome anyway. But there are still religious options what accept homosexual people with very nice ceremonies. A wiccan handfasting, a satanic wedding, even a more liberal christian union. So I ask you, does same sex marriage affect you. If so, please say so. If not, why oppose it?

The God of bad publicity and the solution

Ok, you've placed a tree with fruit in arms reach of people you don't want near it, you've flooded a planet killing all but one family a boat full of animals. You ask someone to kill their kid and say at the last minute "Just kidding". You deliberatly harden a king's heart so he doesn't let your people go just so you can show off your might, ending in the deaths of the first born of your oppressors. You order the deaths of people in cities in your promised land except the virgin women and girls, whom can be taken as wives. You hear one of your prophets curse some children for calling him baldy, instead of telling him "suck it up, they're just kids" you decide it is better to send 2 bears to sort them out. Dispite punishing your chosen people for worshiping other gods, you think "hang on, maybe there is something wrong here. Maybe my behaviour has been questionable. Maybe I should streghten out. Nah, I'm all good. Hey Lucifer, I need you to do a favor for me" Then you kick the guy out and blame all the bad shit on him. You now set up this conflict between good (you) and evil (the other guy). You even reinforce this by sending your son to Earth, have him brutally executed and then bring him back to life after a few days (not before having him denouce your scapegoat a bit more, calling him a lair too, hey why would they doubt your word?) bring him back to life and tell everyone that they are forgiven for something their great great ansestor has done long before they were born and you no longer have to send people to your basement furnace to punish them (which you had just put up, or if you always had it, you never mentioned it before), but only if they beleive in this brutal murder. So now you have people loving you again. You also make the promise you will end this world and make a better one for the faithful. almost 2000 years later, wen asked when it's gonna happen, you reply "I'll get right on it". And people still wait.
